After much trouble with video! See PowerPoint (Reflection 5.1) and Map Creation (Reflection 5.2)... the easiest way I have found so far is as follows:

Well I lost the post completely. No amount of time and trying this and that worked.
So now I have copied the site and will keep the copy as a back up - it is not published. The new format will have all Reflections on the same page. This has cost me a lot of time unfortunately, but it is a learning experience that shows me I need to keep things backed up. I can't find the table for Reflection 2.1, I can't re-do this now, but will do so when I have time. Grumpy Cat Time! I lost a page today.
With all of the skill and enthusiasm of a beginner, in my excitement of being able to copy a page for a new reflection I accidentally lost Reflection 2.1. I copied it, then when I thought I had deleted a copy I didn't need, I later discovered it was the original post. This mistake cost me much time as I spent a lot of time trying to find out how to retrieve it. The following page showed me how to find it in the Chrome cache: http://www.sensefulsolutions.com/2012/01/viewing-chrome-cache-easy-way.html Well, here goes nothing..... results to follow.... Here is a method for changing the icon:
https://www.webnots.com/add-favicon-to-free-weebly-site/ The method is too long to copy and paste here - but it's all on the webpage. It took me a few goes to get the coding correct, but now it works and it looks great! I just found out how to add a table to Weebly using excel:
https://www.webnots.com/how-to-add-table-in-weebly-site/ Follow the below instructions to create a table using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet as the starting point: – Open Microsoft Excel, I used Microsoft Word 2013. – Format text and column widths for final appearance. – Drag mouse across all data cells you wish to upload. – Select “Save As” and select file type: “Web Page (*.htm, *.html)”. – Before clicking “Save”, select the “Save: Section: Sheet” radio button (not the “full Workbook”). – Click “Save”, then in the secondary Publish dialog box, click “Publish” – Open the saved HTML document in a Notepad (Right Click and “Open With > Notepad”) and copy the code. – Use Weebly’s Embed code element to paste the code on your Weebly site. Ok - so I thought I'd just make a page on which to write random thoughts about how it's all going... maybe nobody will read this page and that's fine - it's more for me!
Comments so far: Weebly - I have used Weebly to make a static website before. I used a template and even though it took me a great amount of time to complete, I was happy with the outcome. - I have found the creation of this blog to be ok, it has taken me a lot of time also, but I'm happy with the outcome so far. Wiki - I've struggled with this one more than my Weebly blog site. - I can embed a YouTube video - I can't seem to be able to create a user group - Nobody can see my site! |
